As a green and emerging mode of transportation, they are particularly popular among overseas consumers. Starting in June, the peak sales season for kukirin electric scooters will begin again. How is production at your factory currently?
Shenzhen kukirin co.,ltd, reporters observed three production lines churning out electric scooters, with an average of one product rolling off the line every 40 seconds. The factory manager explained that with the peak season for international customer orders approaching in just over 20 days, they needed to add two more production lines to meet demand.
Chen Gang, head of the Zhejiang production plant of a Shenzhen-based electronics company in Guangdong, stated: "Currently, our daily production capacity is between 1,200 and 1,300 units. Peak season is June, July, August, and September, during which we load six to seven containers daily and ship them to customers by sea."

Data shows that electric scooter sales in Europe have continued to grow since 2022. Annual sales in six countries-France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and Ukraine-grew from over a million units in 2020 to over 2.5 million in 2022. Year-on-year growth of over 70% is expected to continue over the next three years.
Chen Yuanling, Deputy Chief of the Inspection and Quarantine Section of Guanlan Customs under Shenzhen Customs, stated: "In the first four months of this year, Shenzhen exported 910 million yuan worth of electric scooters, an 18.5% year-on-year increase. General trade exports of electric scooters totaled 870 million yuan, a 38.1% increase, accounting for 96.2% of the total. The top three export markets were the European Union, the United States, and Canada, accounting for a combined 74.8% of the total.

As a major production base for kukirin electric scooters, my country is also gradually expanding its exports from the European and American markets to emerging markets."
He Wu, Chairman of an electronics company in Shenzhen, Guangdong: "Last year, our sales were approximately 250 million yuan. This year, we're aiming for 400-500 million yuan. This year, we're also seeing some growth in Southeast Asia, with Japan and Vietnam being key markets. These new growth areas account for approximately 10% of the company's total sales."
